Welcome to Fuel Tank and Radiator Service.
This is the site of Greg and Christine Stevens - vintage vehicle enthusiasts!
NEWS FLASH: Late 2009 Greg bought Roy's Radiators (Ashfield, Sydney) very early authentic honeycomb core manufacturing machinery. The tooling is now being changed to allow the 0.15mm/6 thou copper strip (it was 0.11mm/4.5 thou) to be run as a serviceable core, superior in design and endurance to the 0.11mm copper used previously. This will allow me to supply a core identical to the imported core I once brought into Australia.
Why serviceable? As I have always told my customers, "If you are going to spend good money on a honeycomb radiator it should be serviceable in 20+ years".
I will be up and running in the 1st half of 2010 and trading as "VINTAGE HONEYCOMB RADIATOR COMPANY".
More news to come soon. Looking forward to the future with "authentic machinery, new tooling, new cores and a new attitude!"
Greg is self-employed and runs Fuel Tank and Radiator Service. As the name implies, Greg's work predominantly deals with the restoration and maintenance of vintage radiators and fuel tanks.
Christine is employed in the finance industry. She also operates a business - Vintage Noise - selling vintage car horns and replacement horn bulbs.
